We can handle data collection projects of any size or type in either of our two facilities
located on either coast. Each location has a large array of production-level scanners for a
combined net-rated scanning capacity of more than 60,000 documents per hour. When work volume
increases, we expand our scanning capacity by bringing additional equipment online.
To ensure accuracy, we employ both computerized validation routines and the sharp eyes of our
data specialists, who supervise data processing at all levels, on every job, no matter how
large or small. Our Verification Department then conducts a range of edit checks, data
validation and database management functions. You can request special data entry "Table and
Rules" for your documents, with fill validation, precise error checking features and output
design based on your record format requirements.
Both of our data collection facilities use a range of OMR and image scanning equipment to
handle the variety of data we process daily:
INTELLIGENT CHARACTER RECOGNITION
Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) technology is
a method of capturing handwritten information from your forms, surveys or documents. When
your documents are scanned, the software will read the ICR-readable fields within your
template. Any character in an ICR field that's not recognized with 100% accuracy will be
flagged for verification. The ICR "smart" process allows for easy organization, sorting,
retrieval and analysis of your open-ended answers in handwritten fields.
OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGNITION
By utilizing Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
technology, your data is captured within seconds. With high accuracy, our data-capture
software extracts information from paper, fax, email or web documents and translates the
images into a form the computer system can interpret. OCR systems like ours can capture,
interpret, verify and transfer information, from any source to any system, making document
processing faster and easier.
OPTICAL MARK RECOGNITION
Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology is a response-choice
technology that is the most common, quickest, easiest and least expensive form of data
collection we offer. OMR documents are used when multiple choice responses are requested. Our
scanners will easily read these documents and can export the data in any format you choose.
The accuracy level is extremely high, exceeding 99%. What's more, it requires very little
human intervention, thereby reducing your costs.
